My friend Jacqui's birthday today, here are the card and gift package I made for her. Jacqui is a fantastic and keen gardner - so flowers it was ( She grows great veg too - a cabbage card next year maybe). I used old papers to make the flowers / butterfly wings on the card : They were punched out with the 2 3/8" scalloped circle and scored using Simply Scored to give them some texture. Again the adornment on the card was using 'old' stock from hodegpodge hardware. The gift package was made from the same old paper stock, using simply scored to make the box and to create the flower on the front.

It was my Mum's birthday at the weekend, and she was here with us for the day - lovely bright and sunny. I made a card to reflect the season, very simple with one stamp and one punch: I used my new embossing folder and edglits for the first time as well. For those of you already familiar with my style this is a change - bright colours! I also made a matching gift tag and Bag for her gifts.
